LowEndTalk and LowEndSpirit, rebuilt in your browser.

BetterLET is a free Chrome extension for the two low-end hosting forums. A thread list you can scan, a deal finder, previews before you click, and a block list for the noise.

Three looks. Pick yours in one click.

Every design has Auto, Light and Dark, and the same features. Switch any time from the gear in the forum header.

V1: a three-column layout that reads like a server rack. Status lights show what's new.

BetterLET's V1 design on the LowEndTalk thread list

Everything the forums are missing.

Built by a regular, for the way people actually use these boards: checking offers, following threads, and skipping what they've seen.

Scan faster

Status lights on every thread you haven't opened, or that has new replies since you did.
Sort, hide seen, hide pinned, and load the next page into the same list.
The title opens the first post. The date and arrow jump to the last comment.
Start dates beside reply and view counts.

Find deals

Deal and giveaway finder: show only deals, only giveaways, or no deals at all.
Deal and Giveaway tags on each thread, from its category and title.
Loads more pages on its own when a page has only a few matches.

Look before you click

Thread previews: hover a title to read the start of the first post.
Hover cards for people: roles, join date, activity, thanks, and karma on LowEndSpirit.

Your corner

My threads and Posted in in the left sidebar, with new replies first.
Dashboard with your counts, threads, and bookmarks on one page.
Categories one click away on both forums.

Quiet the noise

Your own block list. Their threads, comments, quotes of them, and DMs disappear.
Block from a profile, a hover card, or beside a name on any post. Undo from the gear.

Stays current

One-click updates straight from this project's GitHub releases.
Every file is checked against its published hash before it is installed.

Who it's for

Anyone who spends real time on LowEndTalk or LowEndSpirit.

Deal hunters: You check the offers boards every day. The finder and status lights show you only what's new and worth a look.
Providers: You post offers and answer questions. My threads and Posted in keep every conversation you're part of in one place.
Long-time regulars: You've read these forums for years. Previews, hide seen, and a block list give you back the time the stock layout takes.
